Kezia Kent wins The TASC Group’s Spring 2023 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship Award at The City College of New York 

The TASC Group is delighted to announce that Kezia Kent, a double major in communications and economics at The City College of New York (CCNY), won our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship Award and will receive $2,500 for her spring semester college tuition and a paid summer internship at The TASC Group.

Kezia’s commitment to advocacy is evidenced by her impressive achievements as a CCNY scholar and her passionate collaboration with nonprofit organizations dedicated to combating climate change and driving forward environmental policy. As a student in CCNY’s Advertising and Public Relations program, her focus on breaking into the field of public relations stems from her desire to guide mission-driven organizations and policymakers. She is also fascinated by the impact of crisis management and aims to uphold ethical practices in communications.

Award-winning and seasoned professionals at The TASC Group will work hand-in-hand with Kezia to guide her professional development in the industry and put to practical use the foundational concepts she has absorbed in her communications program.

Kezia’s hard work has earned two separate year-long fellowship programs at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership – the Climate Policy Fellows Program and the Leadership for Democracy and Social Justice Social Change Fellowship.
