Award-Winning PR Professional Rida Bint Fozi Named President and Co-Owner of The TASC Group

The TASC Group is thrilled to announce that award-winning PR professional Rida Bint Fozi has been named president and co-owner of The TASC Group. Rida’s appointment to president is a victory for women, especially women of color, who very often experience a lack of representation in senior executive leadership positions and in the ownership ranks of the PR industry.

As the former managing director, Rida has dedicated 10 years to mentoring rising PR professionals and working with a range of mission-driven clients. TASC has been shaped by her inspiring work ethic, commitment to outstanding leadership and talent within the field.

Rida’s contributions to the firm have led to dramatic growth and award-winning success. She has managed high-profile campaigns for national advocacy movements and clients such as OceanX, Trayvon Martin Foundation, David Lynch Foundation, the Heather Heyer Foundation, United Way of New York City and The Eagle Academy for Young Men Foundation.Thanks to her decisive, calm and passionate managerial approach to complex client projects, her teams have generated significant results such as securing thousands of top-tier media placements, successfully reaching audiences in the millions and establishing long-term relationships between clients and members of the media.

The TASC Group prides itself on its fostering of diversity, inclusion and equity in its workforce and culture, and Rida has primarily been responsible for nurturing these efforts in the last few years as managing director. As Rida moves into this new position, Larry Kopp, the founder and president, will be elevated into a new role as chairman of The TASC Group.

Rida got her first taste of public relations while working for one of the leading faith-based non-governmental organizations that The TASC Group represented back in 2012, The Islamic Circle of North America. The impression that the firm’s work left on Rida launched a successful career in the public relations and communications industry that began with an internship and blossomed into her current role of president.
