ADRIANA TORRES-PLAZA
Adriana is a public relations professional, writer, strategist and student designer with more than five years of experience supporting non-profit, philanthropic, corporate and consumer clients with their social impact and advocacy communications. At The TASC Group, Adriana leads the strategy and execution of various accounts working in education, journalism and science communication.
Prior to joining TASC, Adriana worked on Weber Shandwick’s NYC social impact team for three years, where she helped drive purpose campaigns for global brands. Adriana began her career with nonprofits in Washington D.C. focused on sustainable fashion and international migration. She received her Bachelor of Arts in human geography and international relations from Durham University in the United Kingdom.

In the past year, ghostwriting and placing an op-ed in the Washington Post.

Allegedly, I am a “deep thinker, creative and realistically idealistic.”
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Rest! Run! Do some creative stuff! Read! Sit in parks with friends!
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Peanuts because I heard once that this person ate only peanuts for one year and survived.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Listen to your intuition.
